Prerequisite: Four day Externship with Couples training, in-person or online
Facilitated by: Yolanda von Hockauf & Veronica Kallos-Lilly
Location: VCFI Boardroom – #270 – 828 West 8th Ave, Vancouver, BC
In this small group experience, participants will have the opportunity to review the EFT for couples’ model (EFCT), watch training videos, share their work, and practice their skills. The three stages and nine steps are covered and the Tango is used to guide clinical interventions. The tone of the group is one of safety and supportiveness.
It is recommended that therapists take this course when they have a caseload of at least a few active couples so they can practice the skills they are learning between core skills modules. Although not mandatory, participants are welcome to present a case for feedback, we only ask that you let the trainers know in advance if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity. If you are considering presenting a case and are not currently videotaping, we strongly recommend that you start doing so as soon as possible in order to prepare for the training.
Participants will learn to:
- Use an attachment framework
- Track and deepen emotion in the here and now
- Create bonding events
- Practice the interventions that create change in EFT
Group size is limited to 15.
Fee: $2,000

Please note that this training will NOT be recorded.
